Toy Machine head honcho and underground art icon, Ed Templeton has come out with his new book Wayward Cognitions. This time he dug deep in his photo archieves to find the motifs that could not be categorised under the themes of any of his previous publications such as Teenage Smokers or Teenage Kissers. For Wayward Cognitions his intention was to trigger the reader’s imagination by choosing 50 images of ephemeral moments in between, captured roaming the streets or on various travels, and specially handprinted and layed out in his home office. A classy piece. “Culture”, as Ed puts it, way worth to “spend your hard-earned cash” on. If you’re keen, have a look at Thomas Campbell’s Um Yeah Arts.
