Read on below for a brief chat with William about the process of making this clip.
When did you start filming for the video?
Most of Jesper Linds footage, the last part, was from 2015 but the rest is from 2016-17. I think Jesper’s part was filmed in around 2-3 weeks during summer that year.
How long did it take?
The footage is from three summers, or the time it took for David to grow dreads or Axel to go through at least four different hairstyles haha.
How did the project take shape?
It feels like these projects take shape them self haha, since we started skating together we have always been filming so it comes together naturally and when the snow falls it just becomes a film.
Before we made one full length a year but due to life besides skateboarding this one took a while.
“You get used to the burning cars”
Any funny/weird moments during the filming of this video, I’ve heard some areas in Stockholm can be kinda sketchy?
There are some sketchy places but when we go skating there they seem pretty quiet actually. You get used to the burning cars though.
Who’s a skater in Stockholm who should get more shine?
Well Vincent Huhta is my favourite skater from Stockholm, he had last part in Sean’s film Green. Simon Hallberg is also awesome.
How do you make it through the winter?
I have no fucking idea, I don’t know how I still live here and put up with this shit every year its fucking dark and freezing and oh my god, I don’t know send help!
