You think this is turning into one of those blogs where I tell you what I ate today? Fuck that. This is where I tell you what Tim Zom ate every day on his little visit to Helsinki. Rainbow tomato soup, roughly 80 cents for a liter, depending on where you get it. You need a stove though, or if you're feeling reckless, a kettle and a bowl will do. It says you need to boil that shit, but since when do you want to do what you're told? Just mix the powder with a bit of cold water first, then pour hot water on top of it. Even just from the tap, if that's all you've got. I believe that's what Tim was doing in the hotel, because the little shits in the kitchen refused to heat it up for him. "We sell lunch here", they said. Bet you don't sell tomato soup for 80 cents a liter, though. Back to the room, utilize the goddamn tap-hose. As you can see, it works a treat. Tim's feebling the steepest handrail in town. I've stopped taking people there years ago, until last year we went there with Kilian Heuberger and he broke his finger. "Take him to that handrail, the steep one", Simo told me. "He'll have something for it for sure." Indeed he did. Now he's back in Rotterdam. And I'm left with the soup. Cheers for the effort, Tim!
