Nike SB has teamed up with legendary London based illustrator James Jarvis to create a collection of two Nike Free SB shoes and t-shirts featuring his striking graphic designs.
Jarvis’ work for the collaboration channels a love of skateboarding, comic art and architecture into iconic imagery and a rolling exploration of everyday life.
James Jarvis has designed each piece in the collaboration to celebrates the rituals and the mindset that defines a skater. “I didn’t want to reference the hammers. I wanted to ask, what is skateboarding? What do I love about skateboarding? And my take on skateboarding is that it’s a philosophy. If you skateboard, suddenly the world is a different place. It’s a different view of the world.”
The collection features Nike Free SB shoes in two distinctive colourways – the black/white Nike Free SB PRM (RRP £85) and a white/gym red/black Nike Free SB R&R QS (RRP £75) along with two t-shirts, ‘Double Time’ in black/white and ‘Art Thief’ in black/white (both RRP £25).
The Nike SB x James Jarvis collaboration is available on nike.com on April 25th.
