117 is a  bit of a special issue for us as it’s the very last one to come from the brain of our beloved former editor Alex Irvine. As you can see the emphasis is on not taking skateboarding too seriously…

There’s definitely some very good skateboarding inside nonetheless and I’m particularly stoked on Alex and Jan’s interview with a then unsponsored Steve Forstner. Negasteve smashed it!

We’ve also got a Vans France trip to the states, Madars and the DC Europe gang in Russia and of course the Dan Cates interview.
