Peotic Collective, per se, have a strong artistic background – so this project with Moderna Museet Malmö was not really far-fetched. Skateboarding’s beauty lies in the eye of the beholder; this might not be for everyone, maybe it’s more down the same road as the Gonz’s performance in a museum in Germany years back: artistic audio-visual stimulation by the Botwid brothers and the whole team.

Movements

Skateboarding is usually very much tied 
to its surroundings, the backdrop of the city and 
the rattling sound of the wheels against the pavement.

What happens if we strip away everything 
but the actual act of skateboarding?

– What happens if we put it in a space where we 
highlight the expression and movement as any other artform?
