FLAMENcOLLAPSe – cOLLAPSe Tour South of Spain

You may not have heard about cOLLAPSe skateboards yet, especially if you’re not aware of the French scene… so here’s a little introduction to our crew: The brand is based in Hossegor, France, the European mecca of surfing, but just like you, we’re more into surfing sidewalks. The team is made of George Poole, the frenchiest English skater, Matt Débauché, Gaëtan Ducellier, Pauliana Laffabrier, DIY ruler Romain Covolan and 14 years old Hugo Westrelin, who, for sanity reasons wasn’t on that trip.

As every skate crew out there we love to get together and hit the road towards sunny destinations filled spots, so we headed down to south of Spain – Chiclana de la Frontera, next to Cadiz, to be exact – aiming for some epic skate sessions and good times. We were lucky enough to have the best guides in town thanks to Ignacio Morata and Alberto Velazquez, so we didn’t get lost in search of friendly skate terrain. And some skateable gems we found… as the photos and video show. Hope you’ll enjoy our adventures in the land of Flamenco!

George Poole - bs ollie - Infernal ramp George is cOLLAPSe's atv - no matter what he'll find on his path, he'll skate it with the same motivation, and the Infernal ramp in Puerto Santa Maria was no exception to the rule. This thing is something like 1.70 high with 20cm of vert, not even mentioning the cracks… sounds terrible but any landed trick feels great. George skated Infernal like a boss, stomping pretty much all of his go to tricks within the first couple runs. Pretty impressive to say the least.
Greg Poissonnier - Frontside crail Here again one of Negro's handcrafted spot, we had to walk accross a field in the middle of nowhere to end up at this epic quarter pipe. Had a hard time sticking this one but managed to do it in the end ! Pauliana Laffabrier - Boneless drop-in Pauli is the only girl on the team, she's more into transition skating than street but has nothing against shredding some urban furnitures when the opportunity comes up. She's got a mean bs layback smith grind but here she is diving into a rough bank via a boneless one in Chiclana.
