We had a great park with mega pyramid, solid bank, few rails and funbox + other blue objects (pipe + box + quatre pipe). after 5 years the wood on the pyramid crumbled, we tried to find an investor or sponsor, sent over 500 emails but we could not get the necessary money / materials to repair. the biggest problem in the park the asphalt surface (it is like abrasive paper).
This spot is underground spot beneath the train bridge, which is one of the best street spots to ride in our town. Ghetto MB has one kicker out of concrete, which is already damaged so much it can not be rideable. It's exactly the one on the picture, where the kid made an ollie.
Is in a part of London where there needs to be a great skatepark, a park full of gritty british culture live this almost derelict bowl. There is a full ring of transition-but nothing else... there are enormous cracks which now make even the banks impossible to skate. It would help the local community and skate community to thrive in this area
It had been used for ages by the local skaters, but now the floor is cracked, the edges of the ledges are warned and old. There are many other minor issues so... In addition it looks much worst in the real life, than on the photo.
The situation is that Budapest never had a proper indoor skate park. The problem of our project is the lack of capital. The sight and the plans are ready and the project is sustainable according to the business plan. All we need is a support from burn and we are good to go.
Hi, my name is Scurtu Darius, I'm 15 and a passionate bmx rider. Our skatepark is like shit, the table-box is broken, in the quarterpipe we have a big hole and the triangle is "dead". We are raising money to make the skatepark better but it's to much to raise.
We are an association called M.O.V.E. and we have been working on this skatepark project for about one year. We already have the exact place and lots of help from several local contractors. We want to build a classic skatepark in the town that contains quater pipes, jump box, spine and the biggest foam pit in Hungary! ( We already have the total amount of perfect foam to the foam pit) It will be 2m tall 5m wide and 6m long as the biggest foam pit in Hungary very near to Budapest!
1.On the ground have many cracks and on the boxes too so unable to grinding. 2.The ramps are soaked because made by wood. 3.we know that is a cool skate spot because nobody live near and nobody walk here just the skateboarders, but we tired to rebuilding every week the boxes.
Our park is located on the mix sports area in Mengeš, Slovenia. It shares ground with football and basketball court what makes it dangerous for skating. There were several collisions with other users, fortunately with no serious consequences. It has no fence or other kind of protection. It was built 15 years ago and most of the objects are in bad conditions. The welts are broken in many places and almost impossible to repair. Skating is one of the most fast growing sports in our town. Thus in a sunny afternoon the park becomes too small for all the users. We are worried for our youngsters because this park has become dangerous for them to use, and we will be forced to ban them from using the park because of the safety reasons.
There is a big need of a skate park in Gyenesdiás, beacuse: 1.) there area lot of kids (about 5000 skaters) in the whole Lake area who are strongly devoted to skateboard, 2.) they don't have a suitable park to exercise, only in dangerous places and on self-made makeshifts. 3.) Gyenesdiás is a family-friendly resort village, with many young visitors yearly, where the firms involved could get big marketing (advertising) opportunity . The park would be right beside (with a view to) the Lake.
