The Burn / Kingpin SOS project spent the past week in Györ, Hungary, fixing the local skatepark. Along for the ride at this stop were Bellows Skateboards and Vision Ramps. If the Warsaw stop in Wilanowska was cold and rainy, then this one was the exact opposite. Shithot and sunny.
We are using this spot when it's raining or snow is falling. We have only 1 obstacle (wooden box). We had rail but homeless persons stole it. On mleczarnia can be only concrete obstacle. Please help us to do concrete obstacles.
As for the staircase that seems to me that would be ideal, but it is the gap that prevents, how cool would that I could brace, then the invasion was to perfect, generally mijsce is very nice, close to subway, literally 30 meters, closed shop has been there so I can to ride safely, and in general it would be nice as if you visited us :)
The picture is an old one so it looks kinda good but its not. Its full of cracks, cracks, cracks and cracks. Theres also some concrete coming loose and plants growing through the concrete. Theres also and old "halfpipe" next to it which was made in "plexiglass?" but it broken and not skateable anymore these days, same for the "snakerun".
The driveway to the five stairs and to the two boxes on sides of the stairs is totally curved and it got holes. Second thing is that the edges have some holes so you can't grind on it. Few steps of that as thought ,,pyramid" are curved and have some slots. It would be great if you will repair it and maybe put there a kicker or a rail. THANKS
Its the only park in el cajon that you don't have to pay for but we only have a couple ledges that are a little rusty from rain, the leges are also dented from bikers, and the cement is grinded up on the main ledge. also we only have a 2 block the size of a 4 stair and a 4 stair a small hubba on the 4 stair and a 2 stair.
The skateparkMB has old concrete obstacles, which are not flowable and ridable as they should be. Being super heavy it's hard to move and combine them into something, what would bring a smile to every skateboarder's face. Copings on quarter pipes are too bulky, banks are too short and there is only one straight rail not fixed into the ground, which gets regularly stolen and thrown in the near creek by local fiends. Only bright thing is the reflectors, what makes it possible to ride during night. Park is lacking some new school features like Euro gap, varieties of rails and ledges and other creative obstacles. I'm positive that with a little help of our(that's you:)friends and your imagination, skateparkMB can become our jewel.
the metal ramps are getting bent and slippery. so much space to be used. the floor isnt up to much general council tennis court and metal ramp set up. just got the new blocks and floodlight. all we need now is a bigger park with snake run(dont think there is one in the uk), bowl, street area. to rival stoke plaza. a skate path would be good too. or just anything that has been properly designed and built by a skater.
Our mini ramp got knocked down. We have no decent facilities. Here is a picture of the paddling pool that has been skated for over 2 decades. To bowl out this thing would be the sickest thing ever! Many people have talked about it for many years but it's all talk, no trousers! There are three higher corners that could make three beautiful bowled out corners. Even just one of these being bowled out would be sufficent. Obviously the council are not going to be happy with this idea but fuck it.......it's worth a shot ennit!
