Round House Kick – Southcentral Europe’s DIY Parks

While we were in Brescia last summer helping what we could with the build of the Creedence park, a crew of Swiss skaters stopped by. They were on a trip through a couple dozen parks in the area of Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria and Italy. As they went along they were working on a zine on all these parks. We skated the local Knödelbowl together that one night, then never saw them again. Now it turns out that it was Nicolas and his friends, same dudes who also built The Beast in Switzerland, one of the parks featured in the DIY issue as well. Nicolas sent a link to an edit from their trip. There’s a lot to skate for the transitionally inclined down in that part of Europe.
